How the dream started
Meet the owners, Mia & Tim Tracey. These two started Pickle & Pie 8 years ago. They then opened Dough Bakery in 2020 in Mia’s hometown of the mighty Upper Hutt, moments after the country came out of the Covid lockdown.
Tim, like the rest of NZ, was busy perfecting sourdough from home in the pandemic and took it one step further, opening a bakery straight after after the local Upper Hutt Mayor encouraged them to take on the lease in the little city. Dough is proud to be a (little) family business from the mighty Upper Hutt.

Love crafting the perfect coffee? If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have experience and enjoy making customers feel welcome with every cup, we’d love to hear from you! We work with Kōkako beans on La Marzacco machines.
Delivery Driver
If you have a great attitude, a full driver’s licence, and enjoy being on the road, we’d love to hear from you. If you have experience with trailers, that’s a massive bonus!
Baker
Are you a bit of a night owl? Love sourdough, bagels and buns? We bake overnight from our HQ (Upper Hutt) with a talented, good-vibes team!
